What is bandera de manabi?

The Bandera de Manabi is the flag of the Manabi province in Ecuador. It was adopted by the provincial council on March 16, 1960.

The flag consists of three horizontal stripes of equal size in green, white, and yellow. In the center of the flag is a coat of arms that shows the coastal region of Manabi. The top part of the coat of arms has a representation of the sun, which symbolizes the energy and warmth of the region. The bottom part of the coat of arms shows a bay with waves, which represents the coastline and the connection of the people to the sea.

The colors on the flag also hold significance. Green represents hope, white represents purity, and yellow represents the agricultural richness of the region.

The Bandera de Manabi is flown throughout the province and is a symbol of pride for the people of Manabi.
